Good Dog Problems
“Taking my dog home from your place makes me feel so guilty...! she bursts, waving her hands in the air! “Everytime I pick up my dog, he seems happy to see us but then he lazily goes outside and begrudgingly gets in the car. I see him look at you with those big liquid brown eyes as we pull away and then going down your driveway, get this...he turns back and slumps his head down on the back seat and longingly looks out the back window. About the time we are past your front gate he is pining and then, he cries and cries all the way home! He makes me feel so guilty to take him away - you'd think I was taking my kid out of summer camp to go back to an abusive homelife!” "We really do love him and we really do treat him good and we really do have a nice place and...Then she gets a funny little grin on her face and says, “Good news is that I think what you guys do here is great and your place is awesome and I always feel fantastice when he is so excited to drive back here! He can't wait to drag me in the door to the kennel!!”
When I heard the owner describe what their beautiful bundle of Mastiff joy does when they pick him up after his kennel vacation with us, I just couldn't stop giggling. “Good problem – I LOVE these problems!” is all I could think or say.
